Hyundai Alcazar Gets Wireless Connectivity

Hyundai Motor India has introduced a wireless adapter for the Alcazar SUV, enhancing the vehicle’s connectivity features. This new adapter enables seamless integration between smartphones and the car’s infotainment system without requiring physical cables.

What’s New?

The Hyundai Alcazar’s new wireless adapter brings wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality. Previously, Alcazar owners needed to connect their devices via a USB cable to utilize these features. The retrofit solution is compatible with all variants of the Alcazar that come equipped with the standard infotainment system. Hyundai dealers nationwide are offering installation services for this connectivity upgrade. The adapter utilizes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technology to establish a stable connection between mobile devices and the car’s infotainment system. Once paired, the adapter will automatically reconnect to the device when the car is started again.

How Do I Upgrade?

Hyundai has made the wireless adapter available across its authorized service centers in India. The installation process takes approximately 30-45 minutes and does not require any modifications to the vehicle’s existing hardware. Dealerships are offering the adapter as both a standalone purchase and as part of service packages. This connectivity upgrade brings the Alcazar at par with its rivals, such as the Tata Safari & XUV 700, which have been offering this feature as standard. The Hyundai Alcazar is the brand’s only three-row offering, available in both six and seven-seater configurations. The vehicle comes equipped with two engine options: a 1.5L turbo-petrol producing 158 BHP & 253 Nm of torque, and a 1.5L diesel generating 114 BHP & 250 Nm of torque. Both engines are available with automatic and manual transmissions.
