Fourth Generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire Spied First Time

As M.S.I.L. prepare to unveil the new generation Dzire, which is anticipated in the coming months, the company was seen testing the latest model in Pune. These recent spy shots have provided fresh insights into what to expect from this updated sub four metre sedan.

Styling

According to these images, the new car will showcase a redesigned exterior with several notable upgrades. The headlamps will feature a modern look with integrated horizontal LED daytime running lights (DRLs). Additionally, the car will come with a new set of alloy wheels and hopefully more advanced safety features over the current model. Both the front and rear bumpers have also been updated design wise. The rear of the vehicle will receive LED taillights, a redesigned tailgate and a segment first electric sunroof.

Interior

Expected to retain much of the layout and technology from the current generation Swift which includes amenities such as an automatic climate control, cruise control and a nine inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system. Other interior features will likely include rear air conditioning vents, a wireless charging pad, over the air (O.T.A.) updates and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay / Android Auto.

Powertrain

To be powered by the same 1.2-litre, three cylinder Z12E petrol engine that produces 82 HP, 112 N-m of torque and is found in the new Swift. It will be available with both, a five speed manual transmission and an automated manual transmission (A.M.T.). There is also the possibility of a CNG variant being introduced either at launch or later in the vehicle’s lifecycle.
