M Sport Pro: Distinct Styling, Comfort & Interiors

The new top end variant, the M Sport Pro, stands out with its sporty visual treatment and improved cabin experience. On the outside, it features blacked-out illuminated grille and trim, M Sport exhaust, red brake calipers, 21-inch alloy wheels, and an aerodynamic body kit. Inside, it offers ventilated front seats, a head-up display, and M-specific styling touches such as piano-black trims and optional dual-tone upholstery in tartufo-and-black or white-and-black. The base trims retain Sensafin synthetic upholstery with a cognac finish.

Suspension, Off-Road Modes & Tech Upgrades

Beyond the new variant, BMW has refreshed the entire X5 lineup with upgraded features. Notably, adaptive two-axle air suspension is now standard across all versions, enhancing comfort and ride flexibility. Additionally, the xOffroad package, providing four distinct off-road modes (xSand, xRocks, xGravel, xSnow), comes as standard on every variant. On the tech front, the refreshed X5 carries a curved display combining a 12.3-inch driver instrument cluster with a 14.9-inch central infotainment unit, along with four-zone climate control, Harman Kardon sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.

Unchanged Powertrains, But More Features For The Price

Despite the cosmetic and feature upgrade, the powertrain options remain unchanged. The xDrive40i retains its 3.0-litre inline-six petrol engine producing 381 BHP and 520 NM, while the xDrive30d continues with a 3.0-litre inline-six diesel producing 286 BHP and 650 NM. Both engines come with 48V mild-hybrid assistance and are paired with an 8-speed automatic and xDrive all-wheel drive. The ride, drive, and performance fundamentals remain consistent, while buyers now get more value in terms of technology and off-road capability at a ₹2.5 lakh higher cost across models.
