BMW is preparing to expand its performance car lineup in India with the launch of the new M2 M xDrive. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission. BMW has also introduced its new pre-chamber combustion technology, which improves efficiency under high engine loads and will gradually be introduced across its six-cylinder M engines.
AWD System Improves Performance
The biggest upgrade is BMW’s M xDrive all-wheel-drive system. It features a rear-biased setup that automatically transfers power to the front wheels whenever extra traction is required.

It features LED headlights with signature U-shaped daytime running lights, large air intakes, and staggered alloy wheels measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear. The only visual update is the introduction of a new Borusan Turkish Blue exterior colour.
Interior & Features
Inside, the M2 M xDrive remains largely unchanged from the rear-wheel-drive version. The cabin features BMW’s curved display, which combines a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster.
The sporty interior also includes M Sport seats with illuminated M logos, premium leatherette upholstery, and BMW’s latest infotainment software. A new drivetrain menu allows drivers to quickly switch between the available all-wheel-drive modes.
