BMW 3 Series LWB Launched At 62.2 Lakhs

BMW has refreshed the Gran Limousine variant of the 3 series for the year 2025. The new model comes with a few revisions and changes. The notable ones among those are that the car is now more expensive by 2 lakhs, gets a slightly revised headlight, a new steering wheel, new trim bits, improved ambient lighting and a new color option.

2025 3 Series LWB Exterior Changes

The 2025 year brings a minor update to the model, and hence, as a result, we do not get to witness major design changes to the exteriors of the vehicle. The car still gets the trademark kidney grille, along with the bumper being the same as before, but BMW has made slight tweaks to the headlight design of the vehicle. The vehicle’s dimensions remain the same at 4,819 mm length and a wheelbase of 2,961 mm, which makes it the most spacious in its class. The car now gets Aluminium Satinated exterior trims and a gloss black rear diffuser. The car’s color options are Arctic Race Blue, M Carbon Black, Mineral White, and Skyscraper Grey. Portimao Blue Metallic has been dropped from the color palette.

2025 3 Series LWB Interior Changes

BMW claims that the overall fit and finish of the updated 3 Series LWB’s cabin is of a higher quality, and the interior trim strips now sport an Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite finish. There is a new flat-bottomed steering wheel, refreshed design for the air-con vents, and the ambient lighting area now includes an illuminated contour strip behind the front seats. The feature list remains the same as the previous model. The feature set contains features such as BMW’s curved 14.9-inch infotainment system with iDrive 8.5, 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster, electrically adjustable seats with extendable thigh support, panoramic sunroof, six dimmable ambient lighting options, and tri-zone automatic climate control with active carbon filters.

Regarding safety, the 3 series has features such as six airbags, cornering brake control, dynamic stability control, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. BMW offers ADAS with the 3 series, and calls it “BMW’s Driving Assistant ADAS tech”. BMW’s ADAS suite has features such as blind spot detection, lane change warning, and collision alerts.

2025 3 Series LWB Engine Options

The 3 series LWB is currently only offered with a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine. This engine produces 258 BHP and 400 NM. The car is capable of achieving 100KMPH in 6.2 seconds. Power is sent to the rear wheels, and the engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

2025 3 Series LWB Price And Rivals

The new 3 series LWB costs RS. 62.6 lakhs, which makes it 2 lakhs dearer than the outgoing model. The BMW rivals cars like the Audi A4 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. It’ll be assembled locally at BMW’s Chennai plant.
