BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition Launched In India

The BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition has been launched in India at a price of ₹46.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model stands out with its distinctive blacked-out elements, enhancing both its exterior and interior aesthetics.

Exterior Design

The Shadow Edition boasts a range of cosmetic tweaks, including

• Blacked-out kidney grille
• Dark inlays in the adaptive LED headlights
• Black rear spoiler
• Floating hubcaps with a leveling function

These design elements contribute to a more aggressive and sporty appearance, distinguishing it from the standard models.

Interior Design

Inside, the BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition offers a premium and sporty feel with features such as

• Illuminated Berlin interior trim
• Carbon-finished gear selector
• Ambient lighting with six color options
• Sport seats with electrical memory function
• Upholstery in combinations of black and oyster

The cabin is designed to provide comfort and advanced functionality, including a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and a wireless charging pad.

Performance

Under the hood, the BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo petrol engine that delivers 190 hp and 280 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds. The vehicle also features front-wheel-drive architecture, ARB technology, and BMW Performance Control to enhance driving dynamics and stability.

Production And Availability

The BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition will be produced at BMW’s Chennai plant and is a limited-run model. The booking has already started from 23 May 2024.
