Bentley Motors has opened its first official showroom in India, located at Nariman Point, Mumbai. Just three months ago, Bentley had established its dedicated entity in India under Skoda-VW. Earlier, the brand used to operate via a private importer. The new facility, operated by Infinity Cars, Bentley’s long-time partner in India, offers the complete range of Bentley models and a dedicated space for bespoke personalisation through the Mulliner division. The Mumbai outlet is part of a broader expansion plan that also includes a second dealership opening in Bengaluru, partnered with Kun Premium Cars. The Mumbai showroom features Bentley’s global retail design language, combining handcrafted British luxury with modern digital interfaces. Currently, customers can explore models such as the Bentayga EWB, Continental GT, and Flying Spur, all of which can be configured with a wide array of interior materials and performance specifications.

Focus On Personalisation & Customer Experience

The new Mumbai showroom has been designed to deliver the full Bentley ownership experience, offering not only vehicle sales but also aftersales support, accessories, and commissioning services. A dedicated Mulliner lounge allows clients to customise their cars in detail, choosing from a range of unique materials, colours, and finishes. The brand’s approach is focused on offering a highly individualised experience, reflecting the exclusivity associated with Bentley vehicles. According to Bentley, its goal is to establish a closer connection, who previously relied on a single dealer for transactions. The company aims to enhance accessibility and service quality while ensuring that customers receive the same standards of attention found at Bentley showrooms across the globe. With the addition of Mumbai and soon to be added Bengaluru outlet, Bentley now has a stronger presence in India.

India’s Growing Market For Ultra-Luxury Cars

India’s luxury car segment has seen a significant rebound over the past two years, with premium brands reporting record sales. While Bentley’s market share remains niche, the company has reported steady interest from customers in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The timing of Bentley’s expansion aligns with a broader shift towards luxury vehicles, particularly in the SUV category led by the Bentayga. The growth of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) in India has also influenced global automakers to increase their local footprint. Recent estimates show that India is home to more than 13,000 UHNWIs, a number expected to rise by over 50 percent in the next five years. Bentley’s new showroom positions it to better serve this growing customer base while laying the foundation for future model launches. Following the Mumbai showroom, Bentley is also planning to open a outlet each in Bengaluru and Delhi.

Strengthening Brand Footprint Ahead Of EV Transition

Bentley’s India has announced plans to transition its entire lineup to electric models by 2035. The brand will unveil its first electric vehicle in 2026. The Mumbai facility will be supporting for Bentley India to support these future products. Infinity Cars has confirmed that staff have undergone specialised training to handle the latest powertrains, ensuring seamless support once electrified Bentleys begin arriving in the country. By opening in one of India’s wealthiest business districts, Bentley is signaling confidence in the country’s expanding premium automotive landscape. The new Mumbai showroom represents more than just a retail outlet. It stands as an entry point into a growing market where luxury and personalisation are becoming increasingly sought after.
