Hyundai Motor India have unveiled yet another sunroof equipped version of the Venue priced at ₹8.23 lakh, making it even more affordable than the last one and it slots in right above the base ‘E‘ model that’s priced at ₹7.64 lakh (ex-showroom).
This new ‘E+‘ trim comes in just a month after the ‘S+‘ variant was launched, previously the most accessible version with a sunroof and this further brings down the price by an another ₹1.12 lakh.
Features And Safety
As expected, you get a sunroof, but apart from that you have a semi digital instrument cluster, front power windows, manual A/C, adjustable headrests for all seats and 60:40 split rear seats.
Safety kit includes six airbags, three point seatbelts for all seats, Electronic Stability Control (E.S.C.), hill start assist and Anti-Lock Braking System (A.B.S.) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (E.B.D.)
Engine And Transmission
Only available with the 1.2-litre, four cylinder, Naturally Aspirated petrol mill that produces 83HP, 114N-m of torque and comes mated to a sole fivespeed manual gearbox option.

Competes in the now highly crowded sub fourmetre segment and rivals the likes of the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, Mahindra Bolero Neo and also higher variants of the Tata Punch, its own stablemate the Hyundai Exter.
