Hyundai has unveiled the second generation of its compact SUV, the Venue, ahead of its launch on 4th November. After months of testing, the second-gen venue will finally come to life after a long 5-year run of the first iteration. This new Venue promises to boast new tech updates, interior updates, and an all-over lifecycle refresh. Let’s dive in deeper to know more about the new Hyundai Venue in detail.
Exterior Design & Dimensions- “Exter On Steroids”

The second-generation Venue receives a complete redesign. Every element on the exterior of the Venue has been redesigned and updated. The front now gets a connected LED DRL strip headlight unit, which runs across the bonnet line, joining the C-shaped LED DRLs in the corner at the lower bottom of the front bumper. The new main headlamp units now sit lower on the bumper and are vertically stacked. The front grille also gets a refresh, and the lower bumper gets a chunky silver skid plate.
On the side, the Venue tends to look more muscular now with a new boxy silhouette. It sports newer body lines above the wheel arches. The C-pillar has been redesigned as well, with a rear quarter glass. The silver roof rails are taller than before, while the SUV sits on newly designed 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with an aero design.

At the rear, it gets a new, freshly redesigned connected LED taillamps, broad new Venue badging, along with a shark fin antenna and a chunkier rear bumper, which tends to make the Venue look taller with a higher ground clearance. Dimension-wise, the Venue is now 48 MM Taller, 30 MM Wider, and 20 MM longer at the wheelbase (yet obviously staying under 4 Meters as a vehicle).
This new Venue may or may not appeal to everyone’s taste, specifically because of how this new Venue looks like the Exter went to the gym, but the Venue had become outdated and irrelevant, and this refresh was necessary.
Interior Design & Updates

Step inside the new Venue and you’ll notice this is a much different cabin from the older Venue’s interior, which looked at least 10 years old and lacked premiumness. The cabin now gets a thorough redesign that clearly raises the bar higher. It now features a new Dark Navy Blue and Dove Grey theme, along with upholstered leatherette seats. The dashboard has now been completely redesigned to look more up-to-date.

At the center, there’s an updated dual curved display setup for the infotainment and driver’s display, which are somehow even larger than what you get in the Creta or Alcazar. The presence of physical buttons is prominent throughout the cabin, and the center console also features a coffee-table-like design finished with ambient lighting around it. The steering wheel is new too, featuring the Morse code (four dots meaning the letter ‘H’ for Hyundai) instead of the traditional logo. The sunroof remains a similarly sized single-pane type instead of the market’s favorite panoramic type.
