2025 Maruti Grand Vitara Launched

Maruti has launched the 2025 iteration of its crossover, the Grand Vitara. The car gets new variant additions and feature improvements for the year 2025.

Variant Additions

Maruti is now offering a new Delta+ variant for the strong hybrid powertrain, which makes it a little more accessible than it was before. Previously, the strong hybrid was only offered in the top-spec Zeta+ and Alpha+ variants. The Delta+ makes it easier on the wallet by offering the strong hybrid powertrain at a lower price point. Further, Maruti has now replaced the 5-speed manual gearbox on the 1.5-liter Petrol AWD with a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Maruti has also made the panoramic sunroof as an optional add-on, and is priced at Rs 60,000. This optional sunroof is available on the Zeta, Zeta+, Alpha, and Alpha+ models. Previously, a sunroof was a standard fitment on these models.

Feature Additions

Maruti Suzuki is now offering 6 airbags as standard across all variants of the Grand Vitara. Maruti Suzuki has also added a couple of comfort and convenience features to the Grand Vitara. Some of these features are 8 8-way power adjustable driver seat, an electric parking brake for the automatic variants, an air purifier with PM 2.5 display, new LED cabin lamps, and rear window sunshades. The design of the 17-inch alloy wheels has also been refreshed.

Powertrain And Specifications

The 2025 Grand Vitara is offered with 2 engine options. Firstly, there is a 103 BHP, 137 N · m, 1.5-liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that is paired to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. As previously mentioned, this engine gets an all wheel drive variant, which is available with a 6 speed automatic gearbox. The other engine being offered is a 116 BHP, 1.5-liter 3-cylinder strong hybrid system, which is paired to an e-CVT gearbox.
