The 2025 Jeep Meridian has been launched with a starting price of ₹24.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), marking a more accessible entry point for this SUV. This update includes new features and design changes aimed at better competing with rivals in the segment.
Exterior:
The 2025 Meridian features subtle design changes. The front grille has been updated with chrome studs in the seven-slat layout, and new 18-inch alloy wheels give it a fresh look. The SUV retains its Jeep styling cues but incorporates minor tweaks to differentiate it from the previous model.
Interior And Features:
Inside, the Meridian’s dashboard has a grey finish and new copper accents replacing the old chrome. It retains the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The cabin continues with a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, front ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The new Meridian also includes a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), offering features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and automated emergency braking. It also has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and connected car features.
Powertrain Options:
The 2025 Jeep Meridian facelift retains the same mechanical setup as the previous version. It uses a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 170 HP and 350 N-m of torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual and a nine-speed automatic transmission, with options for both two-wheel drive (4×2) and four-wheel drive (4×4).
Variants:
The updated Jeep Meridian has four variants: Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O) and Overland. The entry level Longitude trim comes exclusively in a five seater configuration, while the other variants provide the choice between five and seven seater layouts.
Price And Rivals:
Starting at ₹24.99 lakhs, the new Meridian competes with SUVs like the Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner, VW Tiguan, Hyundai Tucson and MG Gloster, positioning itself as a more affordable option while offering competitive features.
