Whoever Designed Mahindra Gio

Mahindra-Gio-Compact-Truck

Mahindra will not really win prizes for its design. First the Xylo (which is still tolerable) and now the Gio. Mahindra, if you are not ready with the vehicle you don’t need to hurry up and launch anything. The Gio maybe India’s first compact truck, it may even be reasonably priced at Rs. 1.65 lakhs and deliver 27km/l of fuel but it looks crap. I mean just look at it, or rather don’t. Have you seen anything more hideous than this thing? Please don’t reply the Premier Rio (thats entirely a different story for another day altogether).

compact truck ? At 1.65 lakhs it will be more of a glorified autorickshaw

When it does the intended job for the cusotmer well….everything else will be non-issue

Hey if it gets the job done then that’s all that matters with a truck. This thing does look like it would come in handy.

Well Guys,

Found this article on the business standard news site
thought of sharing it.

http://www.business-standard.com/india/news/mahindra/s-gio-logic/377358/

Besides Mahindra Gio has many more positives if compared.

It can also be called the Nano of trucks!!!!!

This vehicle is more of a utility vehicle than a vehicle that should be admired for its looks, and vehicles like the gio itself can take lots of loads on its back and thus prove its worth, although with its small size some have their own doubts about this vehicle.
I would rather call it the Nano of the trucks segment

The article up there is pretty nice and well written, also the facts mentioned in the article are pretty true.

Hey guys,
Gio can also be called as the Nano of pickup trucks… Isn’t it???

hi; gio is nice but i think that it is not comprative with tata ace . it is very light vehicle and look not very different as a tempo. mahindra should have to increase it’s power and change it’s look a little sporty.
