Tata Motors has just launched the much awaited Indigo. First and foremost what is wrong with the marketing division of Tata Motors? What the hell is Manza and why the hell did they even use such a name. If by now you are expecting me to answer what Manza means then I am sorry, I am as clueless as you are. I was actually anticipating the next generation Indigo to be called Indigo 7. Anyways coming back to the car which many have been dearly waiting for a long long time. Yes the Indigo Manza looks a wee bit odd but once you glare at the DZire and then at the Manza you start to love the way the new Indigo looks.
Tata Motors has managed to integrate the boot much better than Maruti Suzuki engineers managed. But the most important thing being, Tata Motors managed to design the front and rear section of the Manza in such a way you think its for the same car. Not like the DZire whose front belongs to the Swift and the rear to an entire different species. The new Indigo is has more features, more space and also more powerf than the DZire. With all this Tata has won half the battle. Now lets see how much waiting period the Swift DZire continues to command. Not much, I think, not much anymore!

Nice to see this new site Fas. At first, I thought it’s Mazda but Manza? Don’t have any idea! But, the new car seems to be great though I am not waiting to buy.

Its hedious to look at. Utterly no creativity from TATA design team, where ever they are.
Why doesnt TATA hire decent designers to do the initial sketches. they all look the same. indgo, indica,indiva….
if indian design students cant turn to their own manufacturer for design related work, all talented people will be notched up by other players.
Really, the guy who did the initial sketches shud be thulped.

i also think same. front looks really out of this world. [very depressing look].
Additionally there is lot of cost saving done by tata, but this has reduced the luxary look, feel of manza.
One doesnt mind paying 15,000 to 25,000 more to get that linea type look & glamour. Tatas must come up with updated MANZA with totally changed plastic quality. Door handles [inner] , switches , buttons are real cheap. they spoil the whole efforts of tata team.
Front grill must be changed to net like design [like linea or vista]. The horizontal lines in current design lokk outdated. Must improve finish of manza.
