Fiat Wont Give Palio BSIV Upgrades

by fas on February 18, 2010

In what looks like to be the end of a love story between Fiat fans and the Palio, the end is nearing. The Fiat Palio was a car which changed the rules in the segment, back in 2001 when it was launched. It was radical, Italian and masculine. People bought it in dozens and Fiat India was right on track. However they messed up with their service and rest as they say is STUPIDITY. But the Palio has kept a very low profile in recent years, poor sales, no news and lack of interest due to high competition and new car models and variants. Fiat India has finally done the right thing, given the Palio rest in 11 cities starting from 1st April (no this ain’t April fool) due to Bharat Stage IV emission norms coming into effect. However the rest of the country can still buy the Palio till it is completely phased out in 2015 when the whole country shifts to Bharat Stage IV norms.
