GM India will never improve. NEVER! They did the same mistake with the all their Opel vehicles, followed it with the Optra, Aveo, Spark and now they continue to do so with the Captiva. They have reduced the prices of the Captive by close to 10%, that is Rs. 2 lakhs or so. And why so? Because Toyota launched the Fortuner and they (GM) panicked. Now this news may be very good for potential Captiva customers but such price reduction strategies only kills the resale of Chevrolet cars in India. Thats the reason why very few GM owners would be returning customers. Infact on many forums people say wait and buy Cruze as there will be massive discounts in a few months time. GM needs to decide on a price and stick on it like Toyota and Honda do. Otherwise their success in India is very short live.
