BMW To Launch Z4 Next Week

BMW-India-Z4

German automaker BMW will launch the new 2010 Z4 in our country on 12th October. The car will cost Rs. 60 lakhs. But frankly speaking I really don’t care and why should I? I am not Ambani or Birla that I will be able to afford this car, nor am I a celebrity that I would need such a car to flaunt my personality. Then why is BMW India launching such a car? It looks like BMWs focus is on the uber rich and not at the aam junta like you and me. Instead of launching overpriced vehicles, why don’t you (BMW) launch the Mini? I agree Mini won’t be a cost effective idea but its better than a Z4 at insane prices. What do you guys reckon? Which car would you like to see yourself driving in the next few years? A car which is not currently sold in India. For me, its the Mini Cooper.

Won’t work. BMW is not Tata or Mahindra. They are not in India to serve the aam admi or janta. They are here to serve the elite and they are doing a good job. I don’t think BMW will ever make an “affordable” car. Why should they?

IMO, Its a good move. The Z4′s launch was due from quite a long time.
Now, They need to update their ageing 6 series. :)

New Z4 Looks really nice, BMW are killing it at the moment. I didn’t use to like their cars that much but I’m loving the Z4. Pretty sure it was on Top Gear but it didn’t get much of a good review.

The new BMW Z4 looks so much better than the older models. Not more girly look to it, you should get some more pictures of it.
